Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Free tier users (no account): We collect no personal data. Usage counters (run count, daily reset) are stored in your browser's localStorage only. No data is sent to our servers.

Account holders (Pro / Desktop): We collect your email address and hashed password for authentication via Supabase. We store your license key status and tier level. We do not store converted file content.

Feedback submissions: If you submit feedback via the in-app widget, we collect your rating (thumbs up/down) and optional message text. This is processed via Netlify Forms.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Email: authentication, license key delivery, transactional communications only
• License key status: to determine feature access tier
• Feedback: to improve the product — we read every submission

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. File Data

All file parsing and conversion happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your geographic data, coordinates, and SQL output are never transmitted to our servers at any tier. The Desktop app processes files entirely on your local machine.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to track free-tier usage limits (run count, daily reset). No tracking cookies are used. No third-party analytics are deployed.

5. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — authentication and account data storage (EU/US servers)
• Stripe — payment processing (we never see your card details)
• Netlify — site hosting and feedback form processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery (license keys, confirmations)

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@geoflow.studio. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed by Supabase using industry-standard methods. All connections use HTTPS/TLS. We follow responsible security practices and will notify affected users promptly in the event of a breach.

8. Children's Privacy

GeoFlow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will notify account holders of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
